Position Overview
As a Personnel Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in safeguarding national security by conducting personnel security investigations, analyzing data, and identifying potential security vulnerabilities.
Personnel Security Specialist (Senior Level)
- Clearance: TS/SCI w/ CI polygraph (full scope)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee personnel security investigations.
- Apply technical expertise as an investigator and/or adjudicator.
- Analyze complex security information to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations.
- Potentially manage security programs and personnel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (or Associate’s with 17 years of experience in federal law enforcement or 19 years of experience in the personnel security investigative or investigative analyst field*)
- 15 years of experience in federal law enforcement or 17 years of experience in the personnel security investigative or investigative analyst field.
- Technical training/certification as an investigator and/or adjudicator is required.
- Prior security management experience preferred.
