DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Shooting Star Casino team members will always deliver excellent guest service to our guests and fellow co-workers.

Performs maintenance duties throughout the Shooting Star Casino and other properties.
- Monitors Track-It Program daily for miscellaneous work orders from other departments.
- Reads, comprehends and completes preventative maintenance sheets and performs tasks through work orders and verbal instructions.
- Tasks will be assigned daily by FCO Supervisor.
Maintains a safe clean work environment.
- Maintains cleanliness in all building maintenance rooms, shop, boiler rooms, and mechanical rooms.
Listens and responds to guest concerns to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Assists guest’s person to person, or via telephone.
- Listens to guests’ questions and/or comments and provides information as needed.
- Applies problem-solving techniques as necessary.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum education level is a High School diploma or GED. Minimum experience in related field is 2 months or greater, preferred experience is 6 months or greater.
Certificates, Licenses & Designations
Must meet licensing requirements as prescribed by the Tribal State Compact for Gaming.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry or mechanical/maintenance is required.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in on-on-one and small group situations to customers or other team members of the organization.
- Knowledge of basic math skills, and the ability to perform calculations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume and distance.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- While performing the duties of this position the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, sit or use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear frequently.
- The team member must regularly lift or move 125 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include the ability to adjust focus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Performed in various areas of the complex.
- Often works near moving mechanical parts.
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or air borne particles, electrical shock, toxic or hazardous chemicals.
- Frequent exposure to cigarette smoke.
- Perform tasks in confined areas.
- Adverse weather conditions.
