Description
The TADSS Operator will support the 30th Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Brigade (BDE), Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE), Fort Sill, Oklahoma. ADA Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) Operators who will provide direct support, maintain systems operability, and provide operator, organizational, and intermediate maintenance training processes for a wide range of ADA TADSS. The TADSS Operator shall possess the skills, knowledge, and proficiency to execute training procedures and scenarios supporting institutional, functional, and Professional Military Education for U.S. and International Military Students (IMS), consisting of Enlisted, Warrant Officers, and Officer Program of Instruction (POI) for multiple ADA courses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals, ADA TADSS charts, decision matrix diagrams, doctrinal operations, and maintenance support procedures.
- ADA TADSS Operator shall resolve software or hardware malfunctions, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, recognize operating systems (Microsoft and Linux based) differences and data processing, perform computer workstation network process, and identify ADA TADSS system errors.
- In any event that ADA TADSS system errors (software/hardware) cannot be resolved or corrected by the ADA TADSS Operator, a problem report shall be submitted in writing to the COR or ACOR.
Requirements
- Must possess an active Secret clearance
- Must have CompTIA Security + certification
- Must have graduated from an ADA MOS qualified course; possess a minimum of 2 years of experience performing air and missile defense duties; or possess a minimum of 1 year performing ADA TADSS operations
