What you’ll be doing... As a Senior Experience Designer-I, you will use your several years of experience in design and your skills that are approaching an advanced level, for more complex design programs or products. Additionally, a Senior Experience Designer I may be more involved with the onboarding and recruiting experience and mentoring more junior designers. ● Participating in identifying appropriate design problems and opportunities within a brief. ● Working independently with some guidance to solve larger, more open-ended problems. ● Generating multiple credible design solutions with guidance while participating in divergent and convergent group work. ● Exhibiting mastery of shared tools and software for design. ● Exploring, refining, and documenting design solutions while adhering to design system guidelines. ● Participating in user insight gathering activities. ● Participating in analysis of observations to develop insights. ● Creating communications to share user insights. ● Creating design solutions that leverage user insights. ● Actively participating and contributing to group dialogue and activities. ● Giving and receiving constructive feedback. ● Communicating current project plan, goals, and expected outcomes. ● Getting to know partners in product, technical, and business. What we’re looking for... You have a great eye for design but also know that it’s not just about looks. Your designs are grounded in what the user wants and needs. What you build is new but somehow reflects exactly how people prefer to navigate. You understand and balance both the user and the business perspective. Understanding and meeting the needs of partners is your greatest strength, while also maintaining your own vision and point of view. You believe that different perspectives create the best solutions and new groundbreaking designs. You'll need to have: ● Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. ● Four or more years of relevant work experience. ● Experience in end-to-end system design, including e-commerce, portal, etc. ● Knowledge of high fidelity prototyping and testing experiences. ● Experience with user centric design overall. Even better if you have one or more of the following: ● Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design. ● Portfolio of largely professional work. ● Contributed to one or more design programs or shipped products
