*This position will range in salary starting at $44,833.00-$89,347.00/ annually
Duluth Public Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE Business teacher for the upcoming school year. Courses taught may include introduction to business, financial literacy, graphic design, and management. The program has brand new computer labs and operates a school store operation. The teacher will also advise the school’s DECA program. Candidates must have a current business teaching license or communications technology and hospitality service teaching licenses and or a relevant industry certification/license, degree, or five years of industry experience related to business, finance, communications, or tourism. Additionally, the work-based learning (WBL) endorsement is preferred, but not required. ISD 709 provides mentoring to all new, early-career teachers and free paths to teacher licensure for those who need assistance.”

Qualifications:
Current Valid MN Business Education teaching licensure

Retirement
The District contributes 7.25% of your total salary in the Public Employees Retirement Association) pension plan.
Employees may also elect to participate in Tax-Shelter Annuity options.
