About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Hoosier Health and Living, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in a variety of settings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. Additionally, you will educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention, fostering a supportive environment for recovery. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our residents and promoting a culture of compassion and excellence in healthcare delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress and responses to treatment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
