Join the WOS Team as a Production Operator for Shetland Gas PlantAre you ready to play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and reliable production operations? We’re looking for a motivated and adaptable Production Operator to join our team at WOS. In this dynamic role, you’ll support the Production Supervisor and work closely with site management to ensure smooth and safe operations across our facility.What You’ll Be DoingAs a Production Operator, you’ll be responsible for:Operational ExcellenceMonitor and operate production plant and utilities to maximise output.Ensure safe and efficient equipment restarts after shutdowns.Respond promptly to production and process upsets.Minimise environmental impact by optimising site equipment performance.Safety & ComplianceAdhere to UK legislation, company policies, and safety procedures.Maintain a strong commitment to incident-free operations.Support emergency response duties as assigned by the Terminal Manager.Process & Production MonitoringContinuously monitor process and utility units, adjusting operations to meet targets.Maintain accurate logs, records, and data sheets.Conduct sampling and chemical injection monitoring.Inspect equipment post-maintenance and ensure safe return to service.Control of WorkSafely manage plant operations in line with procedures.Prepare isolations and conduct leak tests.Participate in risk assessments and permit-to-work processes.Reporting & CommunicationRaise SAP notifications for equipment defects.Maintain detailed shift reports and ensure effective handovers.Collaborate with other departments and shifts to maintain operational continuity.Compliance & Continuous ImprovementStay up to date with operating procedures and environmental constraints.Participate in procedure updates and ensure full compliance.Support the Competence Assurance System and pursue ongoing development.Leadership & DevelopmentStand in for the Senior Plant Operator when required.Share knowledge and contribute to team success.Demonstrate and develop competency through the TEP-UK assurance schemeWhat We’re Looking ForA flexible and proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong awareness of safety, environmental, and operational standards.A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Why Join Us?At WOS, you’ll be part of a team that values safety, performance, and teamwork.
