This is how you will grow:

Electrical/Electronic (EE) Architect for a Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) is responsible for

designing and managing the overall in-vehicle EE architecture that supports software-centric features,

over-the-air (OTA) updates, domain/zonal computing, and service-oriented vehicle platforms. The role

bridges embedded hardware systems with advanced software platforms in a scalable, modular, and

cyber-secure architecture.

  • Define end-to-end EE architecture aligned with SDV principles (centralized compute, zonal control, high-speed data backbone).
  • Translate feature and platform requirements into scalable and modular hardware/electrical architecture.
  • Define power distribution and network topology (Ethernet, CAN-FD, LIN, FlexRay, PCIe).
  • Architect partitioning of vehicle electronics into zonal or domain controllers (e.g., body, ADAS, chassis, infotainment).
  • Drive consolidation strategies for ECUs, sensors, and actuators into intelligent controllers.
  • Ensure hardware readiness for middleware, virtualization, and SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture).
  • Define hardware/software interface (HSI) specs and enable OTA updates, diagnostics, and data telemetry via EE design
  • Coordinate with system architects, software platform teams, product owners, and manufacturing to ensure design feasibility and system integration.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders through system “V” development from concept to launch with design reviews and CFT.
  • Domain/working knowledge of SW controls, EE, Electronics, and expertise in development, testing and validation methods of mechatronics systems.

Requirements

This is how you will take us forward:

  • Masters in EE, Systems Engineering
  • Extensive experience working with Automotive EE architectures (both Domain, Distributed) from Body, Infotainment, Drive or Energy.
  • Strong understanding of 1st principles in Engineering, result/solution oriented
  • Subject matter expert in Systems Engineering, Multi-domain physics, Complex systems design with EE, SW integration.
  • Expertise with embedded, EE systems such as wiring and power distribution units.?
  • Familiarity with A2B, CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, LVDS communication protocols and Vehicle Network tools, such as CANalyzer, CANoe, etc.?
  • Expertise with complex problem solving, data analysis, access/interpret/drive results with extended teams.
