Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales – West to join Aman at Sea and lead our sales strategy across the Western United States and Western Canada. As a key ambassador of our brand, you will play a pivotal role in expanding market share, driving revenue growth, and building lasting relationships with luxury travel partners.

Reporting to the SVP of Sales, Marketing & Reservations, this senior sales leader will embody Aman’s hallmark elegance, discretion, and service ethos while executing high-impact sales strategies that elevate awareness of Aman at Sea across your region. With a strong commercial mindset and a passion for cultivating client relationships, you will help shape unforgettable experiences for our valued partners and guests.

Responsibilities

  • • Manage and expand a portfolio of key accounts, developing tailored action plans aligned with Aman at Sea’s business objectives.

  • • Execute strategic sales initiatives, co-op marketing programs, and training plans to achieve both short-term performance goals and long-term growth.

  • • Collaborate with Aman’s global sales and revenue management teams to ensure market strategies drive revenue and optimize pricing.

  • • Represent Aman at Sea at key trade shows, industry events, and partner activations to enhance market presence and uncover new business opportunities.

  • • Leverage data-driven insights to forecast trends, refine sales strategies, and recommend innovative approaches to leadership.

  • • Partner with Marketing to design and implement effective co-op campaigns that align with the company’s vision.

  • • Oversee T&E/Opex and marketing budgets to ensure efficiency and ROI.

  • • Maintain strong communication with Aman at Sea headquarters, providing performance updates, insights, and recommendations to further drive sales excellence.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or hospitality management (or equivalent).

  • A minimum of 7 years of luxury sales experience in group sales, MICE, or charter sales, within luxury cruises required.

  • Possess deep knowledge of the Western U.S. and Western Canada travel trade landscape, including consortia and key market players.

  • Highly motivated, independent, and thrive in entrepreneurial environments.

  • Outstanding leadership and relationship-building skills, with a strong professional network across the luxury leisure segment.

  • An exceptional communicator with polished presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Commercially astute, analytical, and skilled at managing budgets and meeting ambitious revenue goals.

  • Flexible, with the ability to travel 25%+ and work non-standard hours as required.

  • Comfortable operating in a matrix environment and collaborating across global teams.
