Horizon Charter is proud to offer expert Supervising Teachers as partners for our students and their families in their Independent Study journey. The ST provides virtual support throughout each learning period, reports attendance each learning period, guides curriculum and instruction, assigns and collects work using a Learning Management System (Google Classroom and or Buzz Learning,) and provides evaluation and general support as needed.

Horizon Charter Schools is seeking Part-time Supervising Teachers to service students in the Greater Sacramento region, including Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Nevada, Sutter, and Yuba counties. SUPERVISING TEACHERS ARE LOCAL AND REMOTE EDUCATORS. Applicants must be within 50-60 miles of the counties we serve. Horizon Charter School is a CalSTRS/CalPERS employer.
