About the Role

We are looking for a personable and professional Receptionist to join our Southport office team. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers — whether in person, over the phone, or online — you will play a key role in shaping the experience of our clients, colleagues, and guests.

You’ll be responsible for welcoming clients, managing incoming calls, and ensuring the reception area reflects the warm and professional tone of Napthens. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with people, providing excellent service, and being at the heart of a busy, people-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors to the office in a professional and friendly manner

  • Manage the switchboard and handle incoming calls efficiently

  • Support with hospitality and meeting room bookings

  • Provide basic hospitality (tea, coffee, and ensuring meeting rooms are prepared)

  • Deliver general administrative support to teams as required

  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure a smooth visitor experience

  • Provide occasional reception cover at our Preston office

About You

You may have experience in administration, hospitality, retail, or customer service, but above all, you enjoy meeting people and making a positive first impression.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Confident handling calls and front-of-house duties

  • IT literate and comfortable using office systems

  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills

  • Proactive, approachable, and professional, with a helpful attitude and a sense of humour

  • Able to exercise tact, discretion, and diplomacy

  • Keen to thrive in a professional yet friendly environment
