Job Summary
The job of "Library Technician" is done for the purpose/s of maintaining library collection at school sites; implementing age-appropriate programs for students utilizing library resources; selecting appropriate items in support of classroom instruction and educating students on the proper use of the library resources and applicable technology.
A Pupil Supervisor provides supervision of students and ensures their proper behavior and safety while in areas of the school campus which include but is not limited to playground, cafeteria, restrooms and other assigned areas; enforces site policies, procedures and regulations regarding appropriate student behavior; reports all unauthorized persons and activities; and perform other duties as assigned. Education required: High School Diploma or equivalent

- Two years of study at an institution of higher education obtained an associate’s degree (or higher)

POSITION: Library Technician & Pupil Supervisor
LOCATION: IV Home School Academy
WORK YEAR: 2 hours per day / 9.75 months per year
Breakdown of hours per day:
Pupil Supervisor: 45 minutes / day
Library Technician: 1 hour 15 minutes / day
SCHEDULE: Includes both positions: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Pupil Supervisor 11:00 a.m. -11:45 a.m.
Library Technician: 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
SALARY RANGE: Library Technician: Step 16: $467.16 - $760.44 per month
Pupil Supervisor: $18.00 per hour

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Prior job-related experience in a school or institutional setting is highly desired.
