We're looking for a Large Equipment Mechanic to join our service team in Fargo, ND. In this role, you'll work on everything from construction machinery to Kubota equipment by diagnosing issues, making repairs, and keeping our customers' equipment at peak performance.


Schedule: Full-time - 40 hours/week during operating hours

Starting Wage: $32+/hour (based on experience)

Your Role as a Large Equipment Mechanic

Every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to use your skills. Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and gas and diesel engines
  • Performing service calls on the road and communicating with customers about the status and location of repairs needed
  • Cleaning up after each project, keeping indoor and outdoor workstations clean and clear from obstructions, and maintaining clean and working service trucks
  • Clearly communicating with the Service Supervisor and parts department to ensure parts are ordered and received in a timely manner
  • Accurately keeping records, including parts orders and hours worked on equipment
  • Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity
  • Completing related tasks as assigned


What We're Looking For

  • A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience working with DC voltage controls, hydraulics, and gas and diesel engines
  • The willingness to work outdoors in all seasons and cross-train in other repair areas
  • A team player who is dependable and takes pride in quality workmanship

 

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Sit, stand, and walk on a hard surface for the majority of your shift
  • Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
