We are currently looking for a friendly and service-oriented Marketplace Attendant to join our Food & Beverage Team!
Quail West is a leading private golf and country club that prides itself on providing world-class facilities for Members and their guests and an extraordinary and inclusive, yet unpretentious lifestyle. One of Southwest Florida’s most welcoming clubs, Quail West’s courses, facilities and services are shared by a limited number of members to enhance the quality of the member experience.
The Marketplace Attendant is the welcoming face of Quail West each morning, setting the tone for the member experience through warm greetings and attentive service. As the first outlet to open daily, this role is responsible for preparing espresso drinks, smoothies, toasted sandwiches, and managing to-go orders, while maintaining the complimentary breakfast station. The attendant ensures the Marketplace remains clean, stocked, and inviting—delivering fast-paced hospitality with efficiency, friendliness, and attention to detail
- Pay rate $17/hour + gratuities.
- Schedule includes: Days, Nights, Weekends, & Holidays
- This is a full-time position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Member Service & Café Operations
- Greet members with professionalism and warmth as the first point of contact each day.
- Prepare and serve a variety of café items including espresso drinks, smoothies, desserts, and toasted sandwiches.
- Accurately manage and package to-go orders with attention to presentation and speed.
- Maintain and replenish the complimentary breakfast station, ensuring freshness and visual appeal.
- Operate POS system to process member charges and communicate effectively during high-volume periods.
Cleanliness & Station Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary café throughout the shift.
- Sanitize counters, beverage stations, and service equipment regularly.
- Clear tables, remove trash, and ensure the area remains inviting and uncluttered.
- Restock food, beverage, and single-use paper goods proactively.
Team & Club Standards
- Follow all Club safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols.
- Assist with cross-departmental support when requested by management.
- Attend all required meetings and trainings.
- Communicate any safety concerns, maintenance needs, or unusual activity to supervisors.
- Perform additional tasks as directed to support smooth daily operations and the overall member experience.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Friendly, warm, and service-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, organized, and efficiently manage tasks independently during peak times.
- Always maintains a polished and professional appearance.
- Follows all Club standards and contributes to a respectful, team-oriented environment.
- Able to take feedback and adapt to changes during busy service.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a café, coffee bar, or food and beverage environment required; private club or luxury hospitality experience preferred.
- Skilled in preparing espresso drinks, smoothies, and light food items using standard café equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, service-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Comfortable using a POS system to process transactions and manage to-go orders.
- ServSafe certification preferred; knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices required
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive hand and wrist movements.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40–50 pounds, including product boxes, trash, and supplies.
- Work is primarily indoors in a café environment, with occasional trips to other areas of the Club as needed.
- Fast-paced, member-facing role requires focus, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
- Noise levels may be moderate to high depending on peak service periods and member volume.
