Toledo Tool & Die is adding a Shipping & Receiving Team Lead to our team to support our continued growth.

- Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Job Summary
Assist Department Supervisor in assigning/delegating work, coordinating the safe and efficient operations of the department to meet operational goals such as planning, directing and coordinating the activities related to incoming and outgoing shipments to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping and shipping material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming material; and arranging for transportation of finished goods.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
· Utilize positive employee techniques to lead, coordinate and develop Materials Department personnel to support production, forecast demand and/or create supply plans to ensure availability of materials or products.
· Plan work assignments and equipment allocations to meet operational goals.
· Review orders, production schedules or shipping/receiving notices to determine work sequences and material shipping dates, types, volumes or destinations.
· Prepare documents, such as work orders, bill of lading, or shipping orders to route materials.
· Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages or discrepancies for report accounting or recordkeeping purposes.
· Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes & rates.
· Correspond with established representatives to resolve problems, such as damage, shortages or nonconformance to specifications.
· Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
· Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.
Requirements
· A high school diploma or equivalent.
· At least three (3) years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is needed for this occupation. Preferably with an OEM or Tier I/II supplier in the automotive environment.
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software (Word, Excel), ERP Software
· Meet or exceed the job requirements of the job.
· Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays).
