As a HR Consultant at SafeHR, you will serve as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries. You will provide expert guidance on complex HR and employment law matters, ensuring legal compliance and supporting clients in managing their workforce effectively. This role is central to helping clients meet their business goals through proactive, tailored HR solutions and outstanding service delivery.
What that means day to day
- Deliver expert HR and employment law advice to SafeHR’s client base of approximately 4,000 businesses, ensuring timely and accurate responses to queries.
- Provide HR advice through various communication channels, including telephone, email, and virtual meetings (e.g., Teams, Zoom).
- Act as the dedicated HR point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong relationships and delivering consistent, client-specific support.
- Understand each client’s unique business context and challenges, offering tailored HR strategies to align with their goals.
- Draft, review, and maintain compliant HR documentation such as employee handbooks, contracts of employment, and policies, in accordance with service level agreements.
- Stay informed of legislative and regulatory changes and provide clients with timely legal updates and best practice recommendations.
- Support clients in navigating complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management.
What you’ll need to be successful
- CIPD Level 5 or above
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience in an working HR capacity with a proven track record of delivering effective employment law/HR advice.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with changes in employment law and adapt advice accordingly.
