SUMMARY:
Zydus Pharmaceuticals (USA) Inc. is seeking a candidate with in-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain process with exceptional analytical skills and a strong business acumen. They use interpersonal and problem-solving skills to gather information from different departments to recommend ways of improving the supply chain. Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for procurement of materials, consensus demand plan, inventory planning, and management of finished goods and logistics coordination along with understanding and responding to customer query as per DSCSA guidelines. The position will report directly to the Director, Supply Chain & Logistics. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create Purchase order for FG, RM, consumable materials, and services for the department, and address any questions during the PO approval process to external / internal stake holder.
- Able to process GRN, Invoices and coordinate with finance team for supplier payment and PPV process.
- Communicate price changes and / or discrepancies and determine financial impact.
- Minimize the impact of supplier shortages by proactively identifying and resolving potential material supply issues, timely communication, collaborating with Supply Chain for inventory build, and proper escalation.
- Prioritize savings opportunities and take a unified approach with our various vendors located globally or regionally to get the lowest possible total cost to deliver cost savings.
- Contact carriers and support the Supply Chain Logistics department for inbound and outbound scheduling as well.
- Work closely with the Accounting and Customer Service Departments to investigate shipment incidents resulting in customer complaints and/or the issuance of credit memos.
- Provides data and participates in the planning process and the supply review meetings.
- Support data analysis and ad-hoc reporting, summarizing, and presenting data in meaningful ways to all levels of the organization.
- Work Cross functionally and establish relationships and manage communication across the organization.
· Perform other related duties and ad hoc responsibilities as required.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS – SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to utilize ERP information and analyze results.
- Strong computer skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with short timelines.
- Desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Extremely strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience in SAP tools will be an added advantage.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or related business major.
· Requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience as a data analyst in the field of Supply chain / Pharmaceutical industry.
