The Manager of Human Resources is responsible for leading and managing a team of HR Generalists and Recruiters to deliver comprehensive HR services across the organization. This role ensures the effective execution of HR strategies, talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, the Manager plays a key role in aligning HR practices with business objectives and fostering a high-performance, inclusive workplace culture.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of HR Generalists and Recruiters;
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and support professional development;
    • Promote a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
    • Oversee full-cycle recruitment processes to ensure timely and quality hires;
    • Monitor recruitment metrics and continuously improve hiring practice.
  • HR Strategy & Program Implementation
    • Support the Senior Director in executing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals;
    • Lead initiatives in employee engagement, retention, and workforce development;
    • Contribute to the design and implementation of HR projects, programs and policies.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance
    • Oversee the day-to-day employee relations cases, working to resolve conflicts and coach program leadership to effectively manage performance of their teams;
    • Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management;
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations;
    • Conduct or support investigations and recommend appropriate actions.
  • HR Operations & Reporting
    • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions;
    • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
