Backed by top investors including Greylock, Norwest Venture Partners, and IVP, we’ve built a complete SaaS security platform to reduce risk, detect and respond to threats, and prevent breaches at the source. Our team includes leaders who helped define the categories of endpoint and identity security at CrowdStrike, Okta, Cylance, and Carbon Black.

Now, we’re transforming how SaaS is secured—in the era of agentic AI.

Today, Obsidian is trusted by global enterprises like Snowflake, T-Mobile, and Pure Storage. We protect more than 200 organizations across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand—including many of the world’s largest Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 companies.

With strong global momentum, a growing partner ecosystem including SentinelOne, Databricks, and Google Cloud, and a major fundraise on the horizon, we’re scaling quickly toward long-term growth and IPO readiness. Join us as we define the future of SaaS security!

Introduction: Obsidian Security is seeking a driven and strategic Product Manager to lead our SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) product. In this role, you will shape the future of SaaS security by building solutions that help organizations address rapidly evolving threats to identity and data. You will own the product lifecycle end to end — from market research and roadmap definition to product delivery and go-to-market execution — working hand-in-hand with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams. This is a high-impact role where you will directly influence Obsidian’s strategy and mission to protect enterprises from the most pressing SaaS security risks.

*Key Responsibilities:*

  • Conduct deep market and customer research to identify the most critical challenges in SaaS posture and identity risk management (excess privilege, high-risk accounts, data exposure, third-party integrations, etc.)
  • Define a clear product vision and roadmap for Posture, ensuring alignment with Obsidian’s broader SaaS security platform strategy.
  • Partner with engineering and design to build user-centric, outcome-driven product capabilities that balance strong security with seamless usability.
  • Engage with customers, security leaders, and partners to validate concepts and drive adoption of posture and identity risk solutions.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to position Obsidian as the leader in SaaS posture, crafting clear customer outcomes and differentiating against competitors.
  • Evangelize Obsidian’s approach to SaaS posture and identity risk internally and externally — influencing market perception and customer trust.

*Minimum Qualifications:*

  • 2–4 years of product management experience in cybersecurity, SaaS security, or a closely related domain.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to turn complex identity/posture data into actionable insights and product features.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with the ability to synthesize market signals, customer feedback, and product analytics.
  • Proven track record collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, security, sales, marketing).
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities shift rapidly.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

  • Hands-on experience in identity security, access management, or data governance.
  • Prior experience in an enterprise security team, with deep familiarity with security workflows, stakeholders, and challenges.
  • Experience bringing security posture or risk management products to market — including GTM strategy, enablement, and customer adoption.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS ecosystems (M365, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, Databricks, etc.) and how posture controls apply.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence strategy, drive alignment across teams, and deliver measurable customer impact.
