About the Role
 
We are currently recruiting for a Water Hygiene Technician in the Liverpool/Manchester area to carry out planned maintenance activities for a long-standing client. This is a field-based role requiring daily travel, offering excellent opportunities for professional development in a growing team.



Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Water temperature monitoring of outlets, calorifiers etc.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of showers
  • Water heater/calorifier inspections
  • Cold water tank inspections
  • TMV fail-safe testing and servicing
  • Complete allocated work as directed
  • Adhere to both HBE and client operating procedures
  • Plan own work routes and ensure all work is completed within the month
  • Deal directly with customers in a professional manner at all times
 
 
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
 
Essential Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence
  • At least 1 year's previous experience of Legionella monitoring
  • Good knowledge of HSG274 (particularly Part 2)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to deal directly with customers professionally
  • Right to work in the UK
 
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of HSG274 Parts 1, 2 and 3
  • Experience with TMV servicing, water tank cleaning, commissioning
  • Experience with shower descales, chlorine blow downs, plant inspection
  • Minimum 12 months experience (potentially 6 months considered)
