Provide collaborative support for the Department. Take part in the support of various projects within Financial Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Capital Planning & Analysis, and Investment Accounting areas. Work in a positive, professional and collaborative fashion with employees at all levels across the organization.
Responsibilities:• Provide support to the team by assisting with projects and duties to advance the department goals.• Complete special accounting and analysis projects as needed using multiple financial systems and applications (i.e. SAP, Prophix, Workiva).
• Assist with preparation of internal and external reports.
• Maintain effective, positive and collaborative relationships with internal and external parties.
• Assist with maintaining and improving existing internal controls.

• As stated within the Company Attendance and Punctuality policy, regular attendance is required and expected in order to meet the business service levels and workflow demands.
• Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
- Individuals pursuing their bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics or similar field Preferred
- A basic understanding of insurance Preferred
- High level of accounting ability, including a good working knowledge of finance, economics, investments, insurance and statistics
- Strong computer skills, including experience with spreadsheets
- Bloomberg Terminal experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work on a team independently
