Position Details:

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide administrative support and assistance for Program Director as needed, including but not limited to: typing and filing, emails and phone calls, securing and maintaining inventory of supplies, record keeping, preparing mailings, intake and marketing materials, assisting with the organization and preparation of meetings and events.
  • Assist with the gathering, tracking, recording, analyzing and presentation of data.
  • Provide case management services for high need, at-risk families, including assessment and the identification and pursuit of resources necessary and appropriate to meet clients' needs.
  • Collaborate with IHOCs and Parent Partners in the development of an individualized Family Support Plan, ensuring strategies, interventions and services are family-centered, flexible and community-based.
  • Participate in team meetings, which include multi-disciplinary professionals, the child and family, extended family members, and informal community support.
  • Assist IHOCs in obtaining outcome measures and other documents as assigned and complete all required documentation, reports and outcome evaluation forms in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Provide crisis intervention on an as needed basis and participate in the development of client/family safety plans.
  • Assist staff/clients with translations as needed, both verbally and in writing.
  • Documents, in writing, daily interventions and forwards information to designated location

Qualifications 

  • BA or BS in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field.  Minimum one year experience working with children, adolescents and families.
  • Familiarity with principles of family-centered, strengths-based services and group facilitation.  
  • Current California Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to the Agency's insurance carrier, if required by job duties.
  • Ability to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team. 
  • Knowledge of the local community and experience working with diverse populations. 
  • Bilingual in Spanish required.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of The Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire. The Help Group reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
