Role Overview
Eastman Kodak is hiring an Import Specialist- FTZ onsite in Rochester, New York.
Primary focus is on the overall administrative and compliance activities of the Global Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) program with multiple U.S zones. Includes FTZ monitoring and admissions, processing entries, logistics transactions, monitoring FTZ inventory, and other Customs Compliance reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor all foreign inbound shipments to the FTZ.
- Manage all FTZ daily admissions and filling of required e-214’s
- Prepares and submits all weekly Estimates and Entries, as well as all monthly, quarterly, and annual FTZ forms and reports necessary for FTZ operations
- Manages Export Process (7512 T&E) including ensuring utilization of Bonded Carriers
- Manages the FTZ inventory control and recordkeeping system
- Processes FTZ related data and performs necessary internal audits to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
Knowledge:
- Professional import experience in a logistics / FTZ environment
- Working knowledge of inventory control systems, warehousing and logistics activities, including import activities
- Excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
