Catalant connects leading companies with proven independent consultants to solve their most critical business challenges. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager, Billing & Operations to drive execution across client engagements while also contributing to the continuous improvement of Catalant’s operational processes. This role is both tactical and strategic: ensuring billing accuracy and project accountability day-to-day, while also shaping how we optimize and scale our Order-to-Cash operations. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to keep financial and operational processes on track while building trust with both client communities and expert talent.
What you'll do
Serve as the operational liaison between Sales, Platform Operations, Clients, and Experts, ensuring accurate contract terms, billing requirements, and smooth project kickoff and execution.
Oversee project delivery: check in with experts and buyers, manage project plans (scope, timing, resources, budget), and implement recovery actions for missed milestones.
Own billing operations: manage invoice schedules, maintain unbilled receivables, ensure timely expert payments, and prepare closeout documentation.
Monitor financial performance: analyze revenue reports, identify unbilled balances/trends, escalate risks, and coordinate change orders to protect margins.
Lead status updates with Client Communities, AR, Finance, and Leadership, while providing responsive, professional support on project and invoicing concerns.
Uphold professionalism, accountability, and clear communication across all client, expert, and internal interactions.
Assist designing, developing and optimizing operational processes and flow from Order to Cash. Identify opportunities for automation and AI.
What you'll bring
Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business or equivalent field.
5–7 years of project management experience with direct client-facing responsibilities.
Strong working knowledge of invoicing, billing terms, AR, and contract compliance.
Proven success managing complex, high-volume projects with detailed financial accountability.
