Job Description

Overview:

Join our team as a motivated Strategy and PMO Director. Drive Lab Plastics Essentials' future by implementing strategic plans and leading the Project Management organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy:

Partner with the division leadership team to develop and refine the division’s long-term strategic plan.

  • Develop and track important metrics to measure progress towards strategic goals.
  • Lead planning sessions and workshops across the organization, and coordinate the annual STRAP process.
  • Develop and curate operations network strategy across all sites and supply chain.
  • Communicate the strategic vision and goals to all employees.

  • Project Management Office (PMO):

  • Lead and manage the PMO team, setting vision, direction, and performance expectations
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies, standard processes, and tools.
  • Ensure consistent application of project management processes across all functions and Business Units.
  • Establish and manage a comprehensive project portfolio, prioritizing projects based on strategic alignment and demonstrating the value of the Big Rocks and A3 processes
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks
  • Provide mentorship and support to project managers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead process improvement efforts for the division, striving to enhance operational effectiveness throughout the organization. Develop a roadmap of projects that deliver significant value across business units and functions.

  • Additional Responsibilities:

Manage the PMO budget and resources effectively.

  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future performance.

  • Collaborate with other departments, like Finance, HR, and IT, to guarantee alignment and backing for central initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within strategy, project management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic plans.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and standard processes (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience leading and managing a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
