Accounts Payable Assistant (Junior)
Location: London (twice a week in the office)
Salary: £35-£40K
ClearScore is searching for a talented Accounts Payable Assistant on a permanent basis. You will be joining our finance team, based in London, to support ClearScore’s continued growth across the UK, South Africa, Australia, Canada and New Zealand, and across each of its business units (ClearScore, DriveScore and D•One).
We are looking for a dependable, bright, and ambitious individual who thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day processing of financial information across our global operations and help ensure the smooth running of our accounts payable function. We will also fund study towards gaining your accounting qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA) along with providing significant opportunities to learn via working closely with our finance team.
What you will be doing:
- Manage the end-to-end purchase order process and process invoices from our suppliers across all ClearScore Group entities, ensuring accurate and timely submission
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs and perform bank and supplier reconciliations
- Act as the primary point of contact for all employee and supplier related purchase order, invoice and payment queries
- Maintain and improve strong financial controls that scale effectively with the business
- Support the management of ClearScore’s employee expense reimbursement process and ensure claims are in line with company policy
Skills we'd love you to have
- An impressive educational background, demonstrating a high level of numeracy and a track record of sustained achievement
- Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably within a fast-paced, high growth environment
- Familiarity with accounts payable processing software (Tipalti and/or Sage Intacct is advantageous)
- Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication skills with a willingness to learn
- A proactive approach, with a drive to continuously improve processes, increase efficiency, and leverage technology to automate tasks
