Delaware North Sportservice is searching for an Assistant Suites Manager to join our team at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. UBS Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Elmont, New York, next to the Belmont Park race track. The home to the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL) hosts around 150 major events annually.
Responsibilities:- Food setup and preparation standards, coordinating and supervising the activities of team members, and supervisory team
- Hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling of team members, and maintaining the daily operations of the suites area
- Maintain positive client and customer relations by ensuring efficient, quality service and products
- Order and maintain all inventories for the area, determine quantities of related products, and purchase products required following company guidelines, ensuring product quality and controlling costs
- Verify sales reporting, cash handling, and payroll accounting reports, and prepare various cost and operational reports
- Minimum one year of direct food and beverage experience, as well as previous supervisory experience
- Familiar with standard food and beverage equipment
- No college degree required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as basic Math and organizational ability
- Knowledge of food preparation and inventory control procedures
