JOB SUMMARY: 

Developers are responsible for provide programming and support in the development and enhancement of information systems. They develop applications (writing, editing, and debugging) that effective solutions to address business problems.  Developers work with many different tools and environments to manage code; and work with business analysts and end users to understand, test, and implement solutions.  The developer participates in review and design sessions to plan projects; and are called on to provide training for IT and non-IT team members on the systems that are developed. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Business data gathering and analysis 
  • Application/Software design, development, modification, and implementation
  • Utilize multiple development methodologies including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, etc.  
  • Project management and status updates
  • Team interaction and collaboration on projects
  • Participate in developing business process improvements and troubleshooting issues
  • Internal functional interaction and support 

 

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:  

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:

  • Management Information Systems
  • Computer Science
  • Other related technical fields

Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.   

Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
