Team Global Express (TGE) is seeking a strategic, dynamic, and results-oriented leader to join our Priority business as General Manager – Domestic Operations. This national leadership role is pivotal to our business transformation and customer service strategy, with end-to-end responsibility for domestic operations across Australia, including management of metro depots and regional delivery networks.
Role Overview
Note: This role can be based out of QL, NSW or VIC.
As the GM – Domestic Operations (Priority), you will be a key member of the Priority Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the General Manager – Priority. You will lead a geographically dispersed team of Branch and Regional Managers, and oversee the efficient, safe, and cost-effective delivery of our Priority network operations.
This role demands strategic thinking, strong operational acumen, and a people-first leadership approach. You will be accountable for the performance of all domestic operations across multiple depots and regions, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and alignment with TGE's national strategy.

You are a visionary leader with a strong commercial acumen and a passion for operational excellence. You’re someone who can inspire, strategise, and deliver—comfortable making tough decisions, optimising performance, and driving cultural change across dispersed teams. You’re ready to take ownership and lead our Priority business into its next phase of growth and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics, or related discipline (preferred).
Minimum 10 years’ senior leadership experience in a similar operations role.
Deep knowledge of Australian logistics networks, depot operations, and linehaul/PUD performance metrics.
Industrial relations and workforce planning experience in a unionised environment is highly regarded.
Proven ability to lead national operations and depot networks in a logistics or transport environment.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing multimillion-dollar operational budgets.
Excellent people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Clear understanding of OHS compliance, safety systems, and risk management frameworks.
Demonstrated success in operational transformation and change leadership
