River Market Community Co-op is hiring a Part Time Wellness Clerk!
Experience-based pay ranging from: $18.40 - $19.65 per hour
Approximately 12-18 hours per week.
Availability to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis is required. Candidates without availability to work on Sundays will not be considered.

Union position
Reports to: Wellness Specialist
- Maintain attractive, fully stocked, rotated, and faced sections
- Help customers with products
- Answer customer questions accurately, politely, and enthusiastically
- Educate yourself on products in the department
- Assist in ordering and receiving as directed by supervisor
Requirements
- Health or wellness retail experience necessary
- Prior experience serving customers
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to perform basic arithmetic including counting, addition, and subtraction
- Able to repetitively lift and carry 25 lbs, and occasionally 50 lbs
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation
- Able to remain on feet for long periods of time
- Availability to work including weekends and evenings
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: Must be physically able to occasionally grasp, grip, pull, push, twist, and turn as needed.
Constant (67-100%): Walking, standing, lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds floor to waist, talking, hearing, correctable vision including near acuity and depth perception
Frequent (34-66%): Bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, lifting/reaching waist to shoulder, lifting/reaching above the shoulder
Occasional (1-33%): Working in refrigeration, pushing, pulling, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds floor to waist, lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance floor to waist
