Customer Service Representative Job Description
PrimeSource Building Products Inc., one of the nation's largest wholesale distributors of building supply products, has an immediate opportunity for a Customer Service Specialist, in support for PrimeSource's Inside Sales Department.
This Customer Service Specialist role will provide the admin support for PrimeSource Inside Sales function. Some responsibilities include the following:
- Enters bulk of sales teams will call and warehouse orders ensuring 99.9% order accuracy
- Enters RMA’s into system and coordinates with ops to determine if return is necessary
- Enters Credits into system and coordinates with ops to determine if credit is warranted
- Handles Home Depot and Lowes calls and coordinates with ops when necessary
- Coordinates BMG orders with Territory Managers and BMG support team
- Assists will call customers find the will call office to pick up orders
- Acts as phone tree back up for sales team handling overflow calls and customer service calls
- Supports product literature and marketing materials to the customer and sales team
- Responsible for communicating route code changes to sales team and coordinating with ops on missing route codes on customer file
- Supports the Inside and Outside Sales Teams with urgency
- Responsible for utilization of salesforce.com to document calls and any other customer interaction or leads
- Completes daily work tasks diligently and efficiently
- Performs other duties as assigned by management to address and provide effective support of company mission, values and goals
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years of sales or telemarketing experience preferred/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong PC skills including Windows, MS office suite
- CRM Systems
- Company Reporting Software
- SAP preferred
- Proficient with SAP and SalesForce.com to ensure order accuracy and fast customer response times.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly
- Excellent verbal, written communication
