The Maître D’ is the ambassador of hospitality in our fine dining restaurant, leading the front-of-house experience during Tuesday–Saturday dinner service. This role ensures seamless guest interactions, exceptional service standards, and an elegant dining atmosphere. The Maître D’ oversees reservations, seating, and guest relations while supporting service staff to deliver a polished, memorable experience for every member and guest.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome and engage members and guests, setting the tone for an elevated dining experience.
  • Manage nightly reservations, seating charts, and guest flow to maximize service efficiency.
  • Maintain awareness of special requests, dietary needs, and VIP guests.
  • Collaborate with servers, bussers, and culinary staff to ensure flawless service execution.
  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism and discretion, turning challenges into positive outcomes.
  • Monitor the dining room atmosphere, ensuring cleanliness, ambiance, and presentation exceed expectations.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of menu offerings, wine lists, and chef’s features.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality.
  • Proven expertise in guest relations and front-of-house operations.
  • Polished, professional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a high-volume, service-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of fine dining etiquette, wine service, and culinary pairings.
  • Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, SevenRooms) and POS platforms.
  • Valid Food Handler and TABC certification required on the first day of work.
  • Availability Tuesday–Saturday evenings, including holidays and special events.

Background check and drug screen required.
