The Assistant Manager of Base Area Operations supports the Senior Manager in overseeing parking, transportation and security operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day coordination between departments, exceptional service delivery, and a safe experience for all guests. This role is responsible for the daily coordination, management, and support of the resort's paid parking operations while focusing on operational execution, team supervision, and process optimization in a multi-departmental environment.
Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long.
Responsibilities:Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in implementing departmental processes and systems to maximize operational efficiency and day-to-day performance
- Support cross-departmental coordination efforts between parking, security, and transportation functions under the guidance of the Senior Manager
- Help identify and implement opportunities to improve Team Member Engagement Survey (TMES) scores, Net Promoter Score (NPS) results, and Boyne Standards Audit (BSA) compliance through daily operational improvements
- Execute guest service delivery standards across departments and assist in resolving guest inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively
- Monitor daily operations and report performance metrics and issues to senior leadership
- Supervise daily team member activities and provide direct coaching and guidance across all three departments
What we are looking for:
- Experience with budget oversight and financial tracking
- Proven supervisory experience with direct report management
- Strong coaching and mentoring abilities with focus on team development
- Analytical skills with ability to interpret operational data and reports
- Basic familiarity with parking management systems and security technologies preferred

Wage and Benefit Info:
The wage range for this positions is: from $28 to $31.35/hr (DOE).
Benefits include: health, dental, vision
Team member will accrue PTO and will earn 2 weeks or more in a 12 month period.
All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).
All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
