Contract Days/Hours:  10-month; 5.75 hours per day
Report Times:   flex times are based on the needs of the Athletic Department, and may include evenings and weekends as needed
Salary: $15.13 per hour starting rate in accordance with the OAPSE collective bargaining agreement (CBA)

Duties and Responsibilities: (See Building Principal for specific details of assignment)

Perform clerical duties and responsibilities in support of the district Athletic Department
Updating and maintaining student-athlete records, including physicals, waivers, and emergency ?medical forms.
Updating information on databases and other systems
Ordering supplies, managing mail, and operating office equipment.
Assisting with the setup and logistics of athletic events, including senior nights, special events, and award ceremonies.
Assists in tracking the required credentials of current coaching staff and volunteers
Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive student and staff information.
Monitor student(s) individually, in small or large groups, in a variety of circumstances relating to the school environment
Serve as a liaison between the Athletic Department, students, parents, coaches, and the public.
Attend in-service training and seminars to enhance job performance
Performing other tasks as needed to support the athletic program.
Must work efficiently without constant direction
Ability to prioritize daily tasks with attention to detail
Maintain a professional, approachable personality under stressful situations
Must possess strong computer skills; word processing, spreadsheets, emails, etc
Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment
Perform all other duties consistent with the general job description as assigned by the Athletic Director, Superintendent, and/or designee

Current favorable BCII (State) and FBI (Federal) background checks
Current Ohio Educational Aide Permit with ESEA endorsement
Successful completion of office skills test
Negative drug screen result

Office Skills Test over the following areas:
clerical, word processing, data entry, written/verbal communication, customer service

Employees must follow all board policies, all state and federal laws, and adhere to the Ohio Code of Ethics set up by the Ohio Department of Education. Subject to all applicable laws, essential job functions of this position include the employee being punctual and capable of completing all of the duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

The successful candidate must complete all required Vector/Safe Schools courses as assigned.
