TimelyCare is seeking a Director of Business Systems to lead the strategy, governance, and execution of our growing business systems ecosystem. Reporting to the VP of Data & Analytics, this person will be responsible for managing and evolving our core GTM and operational platforms, including Salesforce, CPQ, and integrated tools like Ironclad, Gainsight, Gong, and others. The goal is to support scalable growth, enable cross-functional effectiveness, and improve operational efficiency.
We are looking for a systems leader, not just someone to maintain our tools, but to architect how our business operates. As Director of Business Systems, you’ll be responsible for defining and executing a vision for how our platforms enable growth, improve efficiency, and drive insight across the organization.
This is a highly cross-functional leadership role that requires strong technical fluency, excellent business acumen, and a coaching mindset. The Director will oversee the systems roadmap, partner closely with RevOps, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, and manage third-party consultants while mentoring and growing a small internal team. Early responsibilities will include addressing reporting and dashboarding gaps, optimizing core platforms, and ensuring the systems ecosystem aligns with long-term strategic goals.
What You'll Do
Lead the business systems strategy and roadmap to ensure alignment with company growth, scalability, and operational objectives
Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and RevOps to support evolving business needs
Translate business processes into technical requirements and oversee effective implementation
Directly manage external consultants and vendors to ensure delivery is aligned with internal priorities
Provide day-to-day leadership for a team of two direct reports, while identifying future hiring needs
Oversee Salesforce and related tools including CPQ, Ironclad, Gainsight, Gong, Hubspot, Salesloft, and 6sense
Own the structure and governance of Salesforce reporting and dashboards, partnering closely with RevOps on delivery and stakeholder needs
Establish governance practices across systems including documentation, user access, and data quality
Lead change management efforts across business systems, partnering with stakeholders to communicate change clearly, manage expectations, and ensure successful rollout and adoption of new tools, workflows, and governance standards
Coach the internal team and build systems fluency across the business
Evaluate future resourcing needs such as the addition of a Business Analyst or systems specialist
What You Bring
7 or more years of experience in business systems, enterprise applications, or RevOps tools, including at least 2 years of people leadership
Deep experience managing Salesforce and CPQ in a SaaS or high-growth environment
Familiarity with systems like Ironclad, Gainsight, Gong, Hubspot, Salesloft, and 6sense is strongly preferred
Strong ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across GTM, Legal, and Finance
Experience overseeing external consultants and aligning third-party workstreams to internal goals
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience leading systems change in environments where stakeholders had entrenched tools or processes, with a track record of building trust, creating clarity, and driving adoption
Proven ability to design, implement, and continuously improve business system workflows
Comfort operating as a "player-coach" who can guide team members while stepping in tactically when needed
A proactive, structured, and collaborative approach to systems leadership
