Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of a Director, plan, organize and deliver services in the SCOE service area with a focus on MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support). Develop and deliver staff development training to teachers and other school staff. Serve as a resource to school districts and SCOE in the area of MTSS.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• At least 3 years of experience in K-12 settings
• Experience in training groups of 30 people or more.
• BA degree in Social Services or Psychology or related field is desirable. Experience in educational programs in curriculum or staff development is desirable; leadership experience is desirable; knowledge of MTSS is desirable.
LICENSE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
DESIRED: license in the state of California as either a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) or Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Pupil Personnel Services: School Counseling and/or School Psychology or valid California teaching credential.
Required to provide own transportation. If using own vehicle in the course of employment, must have valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
