Role Overview

We are seeking a Podcast Guesting & Outreach Manager to lead a targeted campaign with extensive experience strategizing and securing high-value podcast appearances, strengthening talent positioning, and amplifying visibility through strategic feed swaps and audience-building initiatives. This role combines strategy, hands-on implementation, and clear reporting to ensure measurable results. Entertainment industry experience and media connections are a plus. 

Key Project Responsibilities

Kickoff & Planning

  • Lead initial strategy session and onboarding with the show team 
  • Refine guest booking goals, define target audiences, and align on messaging
  • Deliver a Strategic Pitch Plan with Magnet Originals input summarizing goals, tactics, and success metrics.

Implementation

  • Asset Development: Update A-list talent bio, show description, and key pitch points; deliver written pitch materials
  • Outreach Prep: Build a curated target show list with tailored pitch descriptions
  • Pitching & Booking: Manage outreach to target podcasts, securing guest appearances
    • Ramp-up goal: 1–2 appearances/month, increasing to 2–3/month
  • Feed Swaps: Coordinate and execute podcast feed swaps to cross-promote and drive audience growth
  • Team Integration: Host a “meet the team” session and deliver a masterclass on podcast guesting best practices
  • Promotion Support: Oversee podcast show promos in collaboration with the show and Magnet Originals team

Review & Reporting

  • Midpoint Review: Provide a progress update with insights and tactical adjustment suggestions
  • Wrap-Up: Deliver a final report including outcomes, performance learnings, and all campaign files

Project Deliverables 

  • Kickoff agenda & summary
  • Strategic Pitch Plan
  • Updated bios, pitch points, and promotional assets
  • Target show list & pitch descriptions
  • Guest appearances secured (monthly cadence as above)
  • Feed swaps executed
  • Midpoint report
  • Final wrap-up report + delivery of all materials
