- Medical Assistants complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic. They work alongside the provider to make sure our patients are taken care of, and the clinic runs smoothly!

- We have the best schedules in healthcare! Most Clinics operate during normal business hours Monday through Friday and are closed on Holidays.
- With over 100 clinics in Northern Michigan, our Medical Assistants can expand their knowledge in different specialties without leaving the organization: Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, Heart & Vascular, Oncology Services, Surgical Services, Orthopedics, Urology, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Behavioral Medicine, Quality and Medical Specialties: Sleep Medicine, Wound Care, Pulmonary, Infectious Disease, Endocrinology, Occupational Medicine, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Nephrology & Rheumatology.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred
- Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization.
- BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.

- One year (1) relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting in a provider/patient support or Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson healthcare.
- BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
