Position Summary: The Guest Services Supervisor at Eldora interacts with guests and employees and works directly with the Guest Services Director and Manager to ensure proper training and operation of all Guest Services locations. Guest Service Supervisors also provide support to other departments with training, reporting, and Point of Sale operations. The ideal Guest Services Supervisor candidate should be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

  • Sets the example by following all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests.

  • All employees are expected to support Eldora’s corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment by participating in our Sustainable Transportation Program. This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. These actions help reduce Scope 3 emissions, lead by example, and ensure adequate parking for our guests.

  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.

Specific Job Skills:

  • High school degree or equivalent.

Physical Demands:

  • Bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling & prolonged standing.

  • Eye/hand coordination & visual concentration on equipment.

  • Concentrated reading and writing.

  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. 

  • Variation in temperature from hot to cold.

Schedule:

  • Non-Peak Days (M-F): 7:45am-4:30pm

  • Peak Days (Sa/Sun/Holidays): 7:15am-4:30pm

  • This schedule represents an average work week and is subject to change based on guest volume, operational needs, and weather conditions.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Number of employees supervised: 20+

  • Positions Supervised: Guest Services Agents, Guest Services Leads

Responsible for:

  • Scheduling and assigning work

  • Training, coaching/feedback & employee engagement

  • Daily Operations

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The proposed hiring rate of $23.50+ actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

  • Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available. Additionally, this position accumulates sick time.
