Ready to take the lead in short-term aircraft maintenance planning? We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Short Term Planner to join our Planning team. This is a critical role focused on maintaining the airworthiness of our 14-aircraft fleet by managing short interval maintenance tasks—up to and including 6MO (1A) Checks.


You’ll be responsible for developing a rolling 3-month maintenance plan, coordinating with Line and Base Maintenance teams, and ensuring that all stakeholders—from CAMO to Materials and Operations—are aligned to deliver efficient, compliant, and timely maintenance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing light maintenance planning and Work Order creation for deployments and recoveries
  • Ensuring compliance and avoiding maintenance overruns
  • Optimising turnaround times and resource allocation
  • Supporting aircraft availability to maximise revenue
  • Collaborating with Fleet Liaison Manager to balance flight hours and cycles
  • Deputising for the Planning Manager when required

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years in aircraft maintenance planning, ideally within CAMO
  • Experience with wide-body aircraft (Airbus A330 preferred)
  • Strong grasp of UK Civil, Military, and EASA regulations
  • Familiarity with MRO IT systems (Envision, AMOS, Trax)
  • Calm, professional, and able to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Project management experience and procedure writing skills
