What you will do:
As a CNC Machinist, you are not just running machines, you are shaping the future of manufacturing with your expertise. Here is what we are looking for.
- Own the Machine Floor: Set Up, program, and operate horizontal machining centers like a pro.
- Flex your CAM skills: Use Mastercam to craft programs that make parts come to life.
- Create with Precision: Develop processes, select tooling, and execute setups to produce parts with tolerances as tight as +/- 0.0005"
- Keep it smooth: Perform progressive machining operations with dimensional accuracy and stellar finishes.
- Inspect like a pro: Ensure every part meets the highest quality standards through inspection and documentation
- Innovate: Provide feedback to optimize programs, tooling, and processes.
- Stay safe and Tidy: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace- Safety is always the #1 priority.
What you bring
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of CNC machining experience, with hands-on expertise with horizontal machining centers (4 Axis)
- Programming Prowess: Solid knowledge of G&M code programming. Bonus points for Conversational Programming skills!
- Cam System Savvy: Basic programing experience using Cam system, preferably Mastercam.
- Blueprint Mastery: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and GD&T.
- Material Whisperer: Familiararity with machining ferrous and non- ferrous materials, including tooling choice and optimal feeds & speeds.
- Inspection Skills: Confident in measuring bores, chamfers, undercuts, hardness, surface finish, lengths, diameters, straightness, and more.

Work Environment
You will spend your time in a shop environment filled with machines, forklifts, and overhead cranes, most likely on your feet. Moderate noise levels and a hum of productivity are part of the deal.
