Job Summary
The Receiving Administrator will receive, process and distribute all paperwork associated with the delivery of incoming goods and materials. This position will work closely with the Materials Manager, Purchasing Agents and Quality personnel to ensure all material inspection and documentation processes are performed correctly. Additional responsibilities will include monitoring Inventory levels, packing and shipping orders and assisting in other areas as directed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, process and distribute all paperwork associated with the delivery of incoming goods and materials.
- Stock, retrieve, distribute inventory warehouse consumables.
- Interact with delivery personnel as well as company personnel.
- Perform Inspection of incoming materials.
- Identify material issues and work with the Material Manager to resolve them.
Competencies:
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and work with a team.
- Knowledge of materials and products used in a fabrication shop.
- This position is a mixture of office work and physical shop work.
- Frequent benign, squatting, climbing (less than 5 feet), and lifting (up to 50 lbs.) are required
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Computer skills required
- 2 years of applicable experience in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or Quality Control
- Able to identify and resolve problems quickly and effectively
