Skytech, Inc. is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Westminster, MD. This role supports our front desk and customer service operations and is ideal for individuals passionate about aviation and delivering exceptional service.


We are hiring for two shifts:

  • Day Shift (AM): Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM + occasional weekends
  • Afternoon Shift (PM): Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM + occasional weekends

Prior experience in aviation or a related field is preferred but not required. 


Key Responsibilities: 

Providing exceptional customer experience is our highest priority. We are committed to ensuring every customer feels valued and well-supported, regardless of the size or type of aircraft or frequency of visits. The Customer Service Representative will:

  • Provide exceptional service and create a welcoming environment for aviation customers, guests, and vendors
  • Greet and assist customers, personnel, and guests in-person and over the phone, screen, and direct calls appropriately
  • Liaise with customers regarding services, comments, concerns, and special requests
  • Monitor building entry and provide support for unplanned customers, guests, vendors, and supplier visits
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments (Maintenance, Sales, Line Service, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Schedule customer visits and coordinate requests with appropriate personnel
  • Coordinate accommodation such as hotel reservations, rental cars, ground transportation, catering, hangar access, and after-hours services
  • Collaborate with line service technicians to coordinate ramp movements and fulfill customer requests
  • Prepare quotes and invoices for services including fuel, oil, charts, pilot supplies, hangar rental, and other offerings, post credit card payments to customer accounts
  • Support pilots and passengers with fueling and aircraft movement needs, considering weather and operational priorities
  • Assist with aircraft catering by recommending local caterers and ensuring proper handling and storage of delivered items
  • Escort passengers between aircraft and lounge; assist those needing additional support on the ramp or in facilities
  • Assist with cargo collection, distribution, and tagging
  • Maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-stocked passenger lounge, ensuring complimentary beverages, snacks, toiletries, and sanitary items are readily available and replenished as needed
  • Ensure lounge equipment (furnishings, computers, printers, etc.) is well-maintained and operational; report issues requiring service or replacement
  • Receive and process mail and shipping; prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents
  • Conduct risk assessments and report necessary mitigations to the Operations Manager
  • Monitor customer feedback and recommend facility improvements
  • Adhere to company policies, complete required training, and perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of customer service experience;  prior experience in aviation or a related field is preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

The pay range for this position is $18 - $20 per hour depending on experience. Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
