Join Nestle Nespresso as the General Manager of our one of a kind, Global Flagship opening in the heart of Flatiron, NY this December! You will be a results driven professional with an enthusiastic and inspiring leadership style. You will lead our brand new boutique where you will have a pivotal role in optimizing people, sales, service, and operations through creating monthly business & development plans that will drive results and elevate business. You are responsible for the internal and external customer experience that embodies and fosters all aspects of the Nespresso culture and brand values.

The approximate pay range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Flagship leadership - Develop and execute monthly business and people plans in tandem with store members to drive sales, enhance service and hospitality, optimize staffing and retention, and foster engagement. Ensure smooth operations while cultivating a growth mindset while upskilling others to support business improvement.
- Performance Management: Recruit, hire and develop people to drive a culture of high performance and engagement. Recognize and reward excellence while addressing any performance issues promptly. Create personalized development plans and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to help your team thrive.
- Training and Development: Lead and inspire others to learn and grow through coaching and mentoring. Lead training initiatives to ensure your team has the knowledge and skills needed to deliver an exceptional customer experience. From product knowledge to selling techniques and operational standards, you will be instrumental in building their capabilities and shaping their success.
- Team Engagement: Uphold the Nespresso culture and values, fostering an engaged and motivated team. Through effective communication and regular touchpoints, such as weekly meetings and one-on-one sessions, you will create a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Sales and Service Excellence: Drive team performance by setting clear targets and providing guidance to Store Manager, Assistant Store Managers, and Team Leaders. Monitor and evaluate performance regularly, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
- Excellence in Operational Execution: Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and manage inventory efficiently. Collaborate with the District Manager to control labor costs and expenses effectively. Support teams with troubleshooting tech issues for smooth operations.
- Safety and Quality: Promote a safety-conscious culture and adhering to Nestle's Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Minimum 5 years of extensive professional experience in retail required.
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in people management of various levels (including other people managers), motivation & development of direct reports required.
- Proven record of creating and implementing business and people plans.
- Proven ability to organize and utilize time management and prioritization skills to effectively manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands.
- High School or GED, required.
- You are available to work open and closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to travel as required.
