Overview:
iPermit is looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join our team in Las Vegas as a Inspector (Final Inspections). In this role, you will be the on-site company representative during city building inspections for HVAC and plumbing installations. The position requires daily travel to job sites, coordination with city inspectors, and ensuring inspections are completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Travel to job sites across the Las Vegas area to meet with city building inspectors.
- Support and oversee final inspections for HVAC and plumbing installations.
- Safely use ladders and access rooftops up to 30 feet (equivalent to a two-story home) to assist with inspections of package units.
- Maintain a professional and courteous presence while representing iPermit on all job sites.
Reports to: Field Operations Manager
Requirements
Education, Experience and Desired Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Physical Demands: Candidate must be in good physical condition to carry up to 50 lbs. of equipment, climb ladders (up to 30 feet), access rooftops, and hoist themselves into attic spaces.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- This role may involve driving over 80-120 miles per day. Candidates must have and maintain the following: a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- ARCXIS will provide a fuel card for company related travel and a company car.
- Candidate must be able to conduct multiple inspections each day,
- Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle report.
- Knowledge of HVAC and/or plumbing is helpful, but not required—training will be provided.
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Work Environment: Construction job sites
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Non-exempt, hourly.
- Generally, Monday – Friday day shift, however additional hours, including weekend hours, may be required in accordance with changing business needs.
