About the Department
The City of Hampton is seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant-Senior to provide advanced administrative, clerical, and technical support to senior management and appointed officials within the Office of the Budget Division. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of complex tasks that require sound judgment, professionalism, and strong organizational skills while ensuring the efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements:
•Requires a two (2) year degree or some college level coursework in Office Administration, Business or Public Administration, or, a closely related field of study.
•Three (3) years of full-time equivalent experience in advanced administrative support, customer service, or, paraprofessional analytical work, or a closely related experience preferably with experience supporting senior level executives within a municipal government or other service-related organization.
•Must be well versed in standard office procedures and the use of the English language.
•Computer skills that include proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software are required. Must possess a working knowledge of executive support and administrative best practices.
•A combination of education and experience may be considered for this position.
