Job Summary: This is a 1.0 FTE non-continuing contract position for a Second Grade Teacher. Under the direction of the Principal, the elementary teacher is responsible for fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students in our elementary schools. This position may include, but not be limited to, the following performance responsibilities, qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities which aligns with the Charlotte Danielson Framework for Teaching. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description.
Salary Range: $75,242 - $149,386 per the 2025-2026 Snohomish Education Association Total Compensation Salary Schedule. Placement on the salary schedule is determined by official documentation verifying educational level and work experience. Salary will be prorated for less than a full-year and/or part-time employees.
Contract: 180-days, includes 12 sick and 3 personal days per year (prorated for less than a full school year)
Endorsement Required: Elementary Education
Qualifications:
Valid State of Washington teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement.
Possess and maintain a valid First Aid and CPR certification for duration of employment with the District when required for position by Board Policy.
