We are looking for a talented Machining Engineer – Senior (On-Site) to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Seymour, IN.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

- Role Expectations: This position is listed as a hybrid role; however, the hiring manager will require the selected candidate to report on-site 100% of the time. Flexible hours for work life balance.
- Demonstrate initiative and leadership by independently identifying, managing, and resolving production equipment and process issues, while proactively pursuing opportunities for growth and development within the role.
- Develop and write CNC programs based on technical part drawings, ensuring precision and alignment with manufacturing specifications.
- Apply expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to interpret and implement design requirements accurately in machining processes.
- Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, including Operations, Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), and Materials, to support plant-wide initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to Manufacturing Engineers, Advanced Technology Associates (ATAs), interns/co-ops, and School-to-Work students, while maintaining direct responsibilities for machining support.
- Utilize CAD modeling software and CNC equipment experience to program, operate, and troubleshoot machinery, with a preference for familiarity with Siemens and Fanuc control systems.
