About the Role:
GiaCare is seeking a results-driven Healthcare Recruiter to join our growing talent acquisition team. This is more than just a sourcing role—we’re looking for someone who will take ownership of the entire recruitment lifecycle, while also helping us refine, improve, and scale our processes to meet the needs of an evolving federal healthcare landscape.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for full-cycle recruitment across a wide range of clinical specialties, with a focus on placing high-quality healthcare professionals at military treatment facilities and other federal healthcare sites. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, credentialing, compliance, and leadership to deliver a seamless, efficient, and mission-driven recruiting experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and closing healthcare professionals (RNs, LPNs, techs, etc.)
- Develop creative sourcing strategies via LinkedIn, job boards, cold outreach, referrals, and local networking
- Maintain accurate records in ATS/CRM and ensure pipeline health
- Utilize recruitment automation tools and dashboards (e.g., iCIMS, JAZZ HR, ADP, Bullhorn, etc.) to streamline applicant tracking and communication
- Understand contract staffing requirements including fill rates, position urgency, and government submission timelines
- Maintain awareness of federal onboarding requirements, including background checks, security clearances, and credentialing timelines for MTF placements
- Track and report key recruitment KPIs, such as time-to-fill, submission-to-hire ratio, and candidate engagement rates
- Coordinate closely with sourcing, credentialing, and operations teams to ensure seamless handoffs and timely onboarding
- Build strong candidate relationships and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust recruiting strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with leadership to forecast staffing needs for current and upcoming contracts
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recruiting experience (healthcare preferred; government contracting a plus)
- Proficiency in using ATS and recruitment systems/technology
- e.g., iCIMS, JAZZ HR, ADP, Bullhorn, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of credentialing requirements, licensure verification, and background processes in healthcare recruiting is a plus
