Rubbercraft (RCC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician (1st Shift) who repairs and maintains assigned manufacturing related equipment throughout the facility in accordance with standard procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies.

Job Responsibilities:
- Performs Preventative Maintenance (PM) service on manufacturing equipment, utilities and facilities.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility systems, including air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, cooling towers, and related support equipment
- Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage all performed work on all equipment, utilities and facilities including; opening/closing PMs, opening/closing Corrective Work orders (CMs), running reposts, following up on open work,etc.
- Develop and document preventive maintenance procedures for both existing and new equipment.
- Assist in educating and training equipment operators on routine maintenance tasks.
- Actively participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities, including preparing reports, performing safety observations, supporting 5S initiatives, and attending EHS training sessions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and effective work environment by following safety protocols and properly using personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Specifications:
Education: Requires a High School Diploma/GED or combination of relevant education and work experience may be substituted to meet educational requirements only.
Years’ Experience:
- Minimum four (4) years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electric components and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Familiar with reading and interpreting documents, schematics and blueprints.
- Able to recognize and solve typical problems from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods.
- Experience in mechanical systems like power transfer, bearings, gearboxes, motors, gears, driving belts…etc.
- Understands electric circuits including 480V, 240V, 120V, 208V, and 277V.
- Understands AC and DC control circuit.
- Understand the function of control system components like sensors, photo cells, times, PLC, modules…etc.
- Experience in operating forklifts and other powered equipment.
- Ability to work within a team environment and able to adapt to changes in work requirements.
- Excellent customer service skills
